CloudWalk Earns Fraud Prevention Certification from Brazil’s National Confederation of Financial Institutions

Combining machine learning with cutting-edge innovations like LLM-based agents, the fintech has built a fraud shield that spots suspicious patterns, dismantles digital fraud rings, and stops fake accounts before they start.

CloudWalk Earns Fraud Prevention Certification

São Paulo, May 2025 —CloudWalk, the fintech behind InfinitePay and Jim.com, has been awarded the Fraud Prevention Seal by Brazil’s National Confederation of Financial Institutions (CNF). Developed as a proactive initiative by the financial system, the seal recognizes companies that follow best practices in fraud prevention, enforcement, and awareness.

CloudWalk's fraud prevention system combines machine learning with innovations like large language model (LLM) agents to proactively spot suspicious activity, dismantle fraud networks, and block fake accounts. In 2024 alone, the system prevented R$15 billion in fraud through proprietary AI technology. The CNF certification, valid for 12 months, is part of the 2025 recognition cycle.

“While fraud rings are using AI to craft new attack models, we’ve built a constantly evolving defense system powered by proven technology. It autonomously analyzes hundreds of millions of transactions across our ecosystem,” says Alan Dias, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at CloudWalk. “This seal is a testament to our team’s tireless efforts to protect over 4 million customers using every tool at our disposal.”

How It Works

The fintech’s system runs continuously, monitoring transactions in real time and adapting to emerging fraud tactics. With over 99% accuracy, CloudWalk’s proprietary tech is nearly fully autonomous. It not only flags suspicious activity but also learns from each case to become even more effective.

“We’re looking at an extremely high trust rate—just 0.3% of AI-based decisions require human review,” says Dias.

According to CNF, the certification recognizes institutions that prioritize user safety and operate in full compliance with applicable laws and market standards.

“This certification proves to the market that the institution is firmly committed to fraud prevention and protecting the financial ecosystem from bad actors,” CNF notes on its website.

Recognized Leadership

CloudWalk’s AI-driven security has already earned market recognition. In both 2023 and 2024, the company won digital security categories in the Mastercard Excellence Program, solidifying its leadership in the field. It was also ranked among the top ten companies combating fake and fraudulent accounts, according to Silverguard’s monthly fraud prevention report.

Thanks to these efforts, InfinitePay – a CloudWalk brand – was not listed in Brazil’s Central Bank complaint rankings in the final quarter of 2024. These results reflect CloudWalk’s commitment to operational security, customer care, and sustainable business growth.

To reinforce its commitment, CloudWalk also launched a dedicated Security Page, offering resources and guidance to help users protect themselves from fraud and scams.
