InfinitePay is a Leader in Digital Fraud Prevention Ranking in Brazil
Created by Silverguard, the “Best Anti-Fraud Software for Combating Fake and Orange Accounts” ranking highlights the efficiency of CloudWalk’s financial services platform. In July, InfinitePay activated 700,000 Pix keys, the highest growth among financial institutions
São Paulo, August 2024 – InfinitePay, the financial services platform by CloudWalk, has been recognized as one of the best-positioned companies in combating fraud against legal entities in Brazil. This recognition comes from the “Top Anti-Fraud Fighters Against Fake and Fraudulent Accounts” ranking by Silverguard, which monthly ranks the top ten companies most prepared to face this challenge.
The ranking showcases financial institutions with the lowest percentage of fake or fraudulent accounts, calculated based on reports to the SOS Golpe platform divided by the total active Pix keys registered with Brazil’s Central Bank. SOS Golpe is the country's first social anti-fraud platform, connecting thousands of Pix fraud victims daily with the destination banks, free of charge. In this ranking, InfinitePay holds the second position.
The achievement coincided with another milestone for InfinitePay. In July, CloudWalk’s financial services platform was among the top five institutions that activated the most Pix keys for clients in Brazil. According to Central Bank data, with over 700,000 activations in July, InfinitePay was the institution with the highest growth rate, increasing its base by 25% and reaching the milestone of 3.5 million active Pix keys.
According to Álan Dias, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at CloudWalk, the excellent placement in the “Top Anti-Fraud Fighters Against Fake and Fraudulent Accounts” ranking reflects the ongoing efforts of the company’s team, particularly the intensive use of Artificial Intelligence in combating fraud. “We’ve developed systems capable of identifying suspicious behaviors from both humans and other systems, helping us prevent fraudulent transactions. This has been an incredible effort carried out in cooperation with the AI team and continues to be one of the company’s most representative areas,” he says.
Marcia Netto, founder and CEO of Silverguard, explains that the ranking’s goal is to positively encourage anti-fraud teams to act quickly in blocking fraudulent and fake accounts. “The ranking is becoming an important tool for market monitoring, and we’ve already proven that fast account blocking and offboarding have become the new pillars of anti-fraud strategies,” she emphasizes.
“These numbers reinforce that we are leading the revolution of instant payments in Brazil, and Pix is one of our main indicators,” says Álan Dias. “At the same time, we show that it’s possible to grow while maintaining the highest standards of digital security. Behind all of this is our unique ability to bring innovation quickly to our clients,” he concludes.
